Your business is growing, you see great opportunities, but you need a way
to quickly sharpen your technical edge. Where do you turn?
Ontario companies, whether it be start-ups, small- or medium sized businesses, or large companies, all have
technical challenges that, when solved, can drive new sales and growth. Ontario’s universities and colleges
have students and researchers that possess the talent and skill to address these challenges. Ontario Centres of
Excellence (OCE) can connect you to this rich talent network.
What is the Technical Problem Solving?
OCE's Technical Problem Solving program supports short-term
projects between industry and academia that address specific
technical challenges or opportunities identified by the industry
partner that will have a commercial impact. The projects focus on
quickly applying research and technical expertise to solving
industry-identified problems to speed innovative products and
services to market.
The industry-academia partnerships created from this program
extend well beyond commercial impact. Technical Problem Solving
helps Ontario companies accelerate their business by improving
customer satisfaction and increasing sales, while giving students
real-world industry experience to help them advance their career
path.
