innovative research partnerships between industry and Ontario universities,
colleges or research hospitals. OCE's investment is determined by the
support and commitment from the partners up to $200,000 per year with
a maximum duration of three years. Typically, collaborative projects involve
an annual OCE investment of $50,000 per year.
Eligibility
Successful Collaborative Research proposals will have the following elements:
Projects must include both private sector and academic partners. Public
sector partners may also participate.
A critical component of the initiative will be talent development
and training opportunities for students, post-doctoral fellows and other
highly qualified personnel within the project.
Intellectual Property arising from the project will be managed in
accordance with the University/College/Hospital and Research Collaboration
Agreements entered into with OCE.
Industry partner(s) make a cash and in-kind contribution to the project
