Ministry of Government Services – Supply Chain Management Division

The Supply Chain Management Division offers 'How To Do Business with the Ontario Government' seminars designed to help the vendor community understand the procurement policies and practices of the Ontario Government. This seminar discusses procurement policy, key concepts and important elements of the procurement process. Canada Revenue Agency – Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) Tax Incentive Program

The SR&ED program is a federal tax incentive program, administered by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), that encourages Canadian businesses of all sizes, and in all sectors to conduct research and development (R&D) in Canada. It is the largest single source of federal government support for industrial R&D. The SR&ED program gives claimants cash refunds and/or tax credits for their expenditures on eligible R&D work done in Canada. Learn More >

Digital Technology Adoption Pilot Program (DTAPP)

As part of the Government of Canada’s Digital Economy Strategy, National Research Council - Industrial Research Assistance Program has been selected to deliver the Digital Technology Adoption Pilot Program (DTAPP) from October 2011 to March 31, 2014. DTAPP is designed to speed up the rate at which SMEs in Canada adopt digital technology and build digital skills. Through new and existing networks and relationships with colleges and organizations across Canada, the DTAPP team provides SMEs access to expertise in the digital technology adoption field.  The DTAPP team also works with other government organizations to leverage the synergies of all available Digital Economy Strategy resources. Learn More >

International Science and Technology Partnerships Canada (ISTP Canada) - Partnership Development Activities

Partnership Development Activities bring together university researchers, technology developers, industry leaders, subject matter experts and other stakeholders from a minimum of two jurisdictions to explore novel models of R&D collaboration, and innovative ways to work cooperatively on new technology advancements or solutions to the existing problems. These initiatives aim to help participants become more competitive by developing global research-based alliances with the potential to foster increased international R&D or business collaboration.
