Ministry of Government Services – Supply Chain Management Division

The Supply Chain Management Division offers How To Do Business with the Ontario Government seminars designed to help the vendor community understand the procurement policies and practices of the Ontario government. Business Development Bank of Canada

From over 100 offices across the country, BDC promotes entrepreneurship by providing highly tailored financing, venture capital and consulting services to entrepreneurs. A financial institution owned by the Government of Canada, BDC has been serving Canadian entrepreneurs for more than 65 years. BDC helps more than 29,000 businesses reach their full potential. Canada Revenue Agency – Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) Tax Incentive Program

The SR&ED program is a federal tax incentive program, administered by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), that encourages Canadian businesses of all sizes, and in all sectors to conduct research and development (R&D) in Canada. It is the largest single source of federal government support for industrial R&D. The SR&ED program gives claimants cash refunds and/or tax credits for their expenditures on eligible R&D work done in Canada. Learn More >

Digital Technology Adoption Pilot Program (DTAPP)

As part of the Government of Canada’s Digital Economy Strategy, National Research Council - Industrial Research Assistance Program has been selected to deliver the Digital Technology Adoption Pilot Program (DTAPP) from October 2011 to March 31, 2014. DTAPP is designed to speed up the rate at which SMEs in Canada adopt digital technology and build digital skills. Through new and existing networks and relationships with colleges and organizations across Canada, the DTAPP team provides SMEs access to expertise in the digital technology adoption field.  The DTAPP team also works with other government organizations to leverage the synergies of all available Digital Economy Strategy resources. Learn More >

It also gives companies access to a highly qualified uniquely trained pool of talent.
